Celebrate Batavia Small Business and School Spirit!

The Family FUNdraiser is a community event and fundraiser hosted by the Alice Gustafson School/Early Childhood PTO.

This 2 week-long event, starting April 12, will have you visiting some of our favorite local businesses to share our school spirit! AGS/EC students, and their favorite adults and siblings, are invited to join in showing off their GUS around Batavia.

We'll visit participating businesses on a fun Seek n' Find adventure. Mini pictures of Gus and Bitty are hidden at participating businesses, it’s your job to find them and ask the business to stamp your game card. (Remember to Give respect, Use safety, and Share responsibility).

Click HERE to print a game card for each of your AGS/EC students (including AGS students attending BVA) and get started!

  1. Find Bitty & Gus

  2. Ask for a stamp on your Game Card

  3. Submit a full game card for a chance to win a prize basket!

While you're exploring Batavia share pictures on social media using #gotgus? #gusinthewild #bittyunleashed
Then invite friends and family to donate to the AGS/EC PTO. Your student will have the opportunity to earn SpiritWear for their fundraising efforts, as well.

Fundraising helps pay for:

  • Supplies & Celebrations (Tools for Students)

  • Curriculum Support (Tools for Teachers)

  • School Assemblies (Fun for Everyone)

Watch your email in the next few days, for an invitation to your student’s personal FUNdraising link with 99Pledges. (They set up and host our event online for FREE!) You can even choose to update your student’s FUNdraising page with a picture of them.

We're very excited about this collaboration between Alice Gustafson School and Early Childhood PTO and our local small businesses.
It is our goal that this event would be beneficial to everyone involved and just all around FUN!

1. What day do we participate in the Seek n’ Find & Family FUNdraiser?

This event has an open schedule, flexible to your availability. Venture out to businesses between April 12-April 25 to receive stamps on your student’s Seek n’ Find game card for finding our mascots. Submit an image of your student’s complete game card by April 25 to be entered in the drawing for one of our prize baskets.

Share your student’s FUNdraising link during the same dates to qualify for SpiritWear prizes.

2. How can my student participate in FUNdraising?

You will receive a personal link in a separate email to share with family, friends, and anyone who would like to contribute to our amazing school community. If you haven’t seen this email, make sure to check your spam filter. If you still don’t have it, email President@AGSPTO.org.

3. Can my student accept cash/checks for FUNdraising?

Absolutely! Checks need to be made out to “AGS PTO”. Both cash and checks can be sent to the school office with your student’s name (so we know whom to give credit to) and address the envelope to “Family FUNdraiser”. If you have a fully remote student email us to arrange for safe/secure pick-up or delivery.

4. How do the students win prizes?

Yes, there are 2 ways to play and 2 ways to win prizes

Seek n’ Find Gus & Bitty and get your game card stamped at least 12 participating businesses. Submit an image or document with a copy of your stamped card to https://forms.gle/LrQtFqPHKwMH5fzg6 and your student will be entered to win one of our raffle baskets.

As you share your Seek n’ Find adventures with friends and family, invite them to support our school community using your personal FUNdraising link. Your child can earn SpiritWear based on the prize level they reach. Your student will earn SpiritWear for the school (AGS or EC) your student attends.

5. How will I get the appropriate size SpiritWear my student earns?

During the week of April 26, you’ll receive a confirmation of the prize level your student reached and be asked to specify sizes needed. Do not delay in responding to this notification, as we will want to get orders filled quickly in order to deliver to the winners before the end of the school year.

6. What if my student would prefer to raise money and not earn SpiritWear?

We appreciate any and all levels of participation in this event. If you would also like to cut the costs of this event you may opt-out of receiving SpiritWear prizes. To do this, simply FUNdraise using the following links.
