Gator Gardeners

This is a group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are interested in growing and maintaining a garden and have an appreciation for its related wildlife.  The kids help maintain the courtyard, plant new plants, do garden-type crafts, and integrate their efforts with their science lessons in the classroom.

This group has garnered the courtyard the honor of being designated a National Wildlife Certified Schoolyard Habitat.  Hooray Gator Gardeners!!  The group meets every other Monday from 3:30 to 4:30pm in the fall and in the spring in the courtyard.

Adult volunteers with green thumbs will be needed in the spring to take on a leadership role with this group.
